Mat Hotel Makindye in water theft scandal
The ground staff of the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has unearthed water theft activities at Mat Hotel in Makindye. Water theft and illegal connection have been a hindrance in NWSC’s effort to provide clean and safe water to every Ugandan.
The water body’s ground staff has continued to hunt for culprits who are brought to book after unearthing. The management has called on the general public to avoid illegal connections and theft of water. “We are ready to hunt and punish the culprits”, NWSC.
“We are unearthed a meter bypass at Mat Hotel Makindye. Customers who steal water deny many deserving customers a right to safe water. Prison is a price too high to pay for water theft. Say no to Water theft,” NWSC.
In related news, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is hosting the Africa utility leaders forum 2016 with the theme catalyzing collaboration to accelerate achievement of SDGs in Africa.
