Maryline Kabugho wants to replace retiring Winnie Kiiza
Kasese Woman MP Hon. Winnie Kiiza has today announced that she is retiring from active politics after 22 years of service.
Her retirement is a welcome news to the ruling party and particularly Maryline Kabugho who is slated to replace her as Kasese Woman MP come 2021.
Kabugho is seen as an ideal candidate to replace the Kasese Iron Lady.
Ms Kabugho is not a strange face at parliament as she has been an employee of the National Assembly.
Former Leader of Opposition in Parliament Winnie Kiiza quits elective politics after 22 years of serving her country.
She served as District Councillor for Kyondo-Kisinga sub-counties for 7 years and Kasese District Woman Representative in the Parliament of Uganda since 2006.
