He has not yet reported officially for the new job but has been spotted at the Lourdel Road Nakasero based organisation.

The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) under new Allen Kagina regime recently sacked its entire staff in a new arrangement aimed at enhancing efforts to fulfill its mandate of developing, manage and maintain the national roads network.

A total of over 886 employees were sacked from their jobs and the road to recruitment has resumed.

Before Ms Allen Kagina took over, UNRA was engulfed in corruption scandals which have seen billions of tax payers money swindled.

The move forced President Yoweri Museveni to set up a commission of inquiry to investigate corruption at UNRA headed by Justice Catherine Bamugemeire. Allen Kagina is set to confirm Ssali’s appointment officially very soon.
