Makerere University Convocation Chief Bruce Balaba on Frank K Tumwebaze and Amama Mbabazi

Makerere University Convocation chief Bruce Balaba has described former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Amama Mbabazi and the current Minister of ICT and National Guidance as exemplary leaders.

Bruce described the two as well as the late Noble Mayombo as humble, ambitious and exceptionally intelligent leaders who Uganda needs to strive.

“Holding a public office is a dream of many but can be disgusting. Knowing Frank since his days as a guild speaker of MUST (1997), remembering his moving speech at Kabalega SS for UNSA leadership in 1998, knowing his conduct and service since then and looking at how the attacks on his personality are left right and centre now pulls me back. My knowledge of Frank is of a humble, ambitious and exceptionally intelligent young man who has to the best of my knowledge strived to diligently serve his Country. I compare him only to the late Mayombo and former PM Amama Mbabazi. I predict more trouble for Frank especially because of the fear of his intellect and energy by many. It is my appeal that fellow countrymen and women desist from pulling down the would be torch bearers of different generational agendas including Hon. Tumwebaze and rather support them to build a successive crop of national leaders. Thank you Morrison for standing with our brother Frank,” Bruce said.

Meanwhile the Minister has warned the general public that there is a fake Facebook account in his name trying to con the general public. The account is named Frank K Tumwebaze. He said people should not fall victims of it.
