Lauryn Hill Barred From Entering The UK
Lauryn Hill has been forced to cancel a show in London after being barred from entering the UK. The Fugees star took to Facebook to explain that her “past legal situation” has prevented her from playing tomorrow night’s concert at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

“I’ve been informed that I won’t be able to enter the UK for a period of time due to my past legal situation,” wrote Hill.

“For this reason I have to cancel my concert on July 15th. Know that I was looking forward to performing in London this summer, and that I appreciate all of my fans and supporters both in London, and throughout the UK. “I look forward to seeing you again as soon as I’m able to.”
Hill served three months in prison for tax evasion from July 2013 after failing to file federal tax returns for the $1.8 million she earned between 2005 and 2007.

The singer performed in London last year, where she was criticised for her late arrival and for reinventing her hits to an unrecognisable level.
