The singer posted a tweet online about her upcoming 12th studio album alongside an image with the message ‘Into The Blue’. She said: “Happy New Year #Lovers….I wish u all the best & can’t wait to share new music w u in #KM2014 #IntoTheBlue.” ‘Into The Blue’ is reportedly the lead single from the star’s forthcoming LP – which is due out early this year. Minogue also revealed in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro that her new single has “that part avant-garde” of her hit song ‘Slow’ and the “classic” feel of ‘Love At First Sight’. It was previously announced that the star had signed a new management deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation and was working with producer Darkchild (Britney Spears, Michael Jackson) as well as rapper Brooke Candy. The singer’s 12th album follows 2010’s Aphrodite, which topped the UK charts and spawned the hit singles ‘All The Lovers’, ‘Get Outta My Way’ and ‘Better Than Today’.
