Kira Municipality Mayor Julius Mutebi Nsubuga has officially left the National Unity Platform (NUP) and crossed over to the Patriotic Front for Freedom (PFF).
His decision comes only a few days after he was denied the NUP party flag bearer for Kira Municipality citing betrayal and financial extortion from the party’s top leadership where he paid UGX 60m. Mutebi who won last term on the NUP party ticket has now been overlooked with NUP Kira Municipality card given to Hajji Norman Ssemwanga Kabogoza.
Mutebi has hailed Kampala Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago for his fighting to see people treated fairly.
