Jennifer Musisi visits Uganda Breweries Limited

Jennifer Musisi, the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority on Friday last week paid a courtesy visit to Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) in appreciation of the long standing partnership between the brewery and the authority. This was one of a series of visits she has made to various corporate organisations and stakeholders who have supported Kampala City Festival through the years.

Uganda Breweries Limited through its flagship brand, Bell Lager has been an ardent sponsor of the annual Kampala City Festival since inception. This year, Bell Lager injected UGX 150 million into the festival, which has earned its name as the city’s biggest annual celebration. The recently-concluded festival was held on Sunday, October 2, 2016.

During her visit, Jennifer Musisi was given a tour of the UBL plant, and taken through the brewery operations.

“We tremendously appreciate the support we have received from Bell Lager and UBL since our very first Kampala City Festival. We hope that we can continue to work together to grow this partnership even for future events.” Musisi said.

Ms. Musisi also applauded the brewery upon their recent 70th anniversary celebrations saying, “Marking 70 years in business is a huge milestone. Your contribution to Uganda’s economy is immense.”

The visit ended in a meet and greet session with the KCCA team and the UBL top leadership.
