ICT Minister, IGP discuss cyber security & content

The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon.Frank Tumwebaze has met with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Okoth Ochola to discuss cyber security. The two officers discussed issues to do with cyber security and best practice measures to adopt in securing the online cyber spaces and content.

“I paid a courtesy call earlier today on Comrade IGP Okoth Ochola at Police headquarter. We discussed issues of cyber security and best practice measures to adopt in securing our online cyber spaces and content,” Frank Tumwebaze posted.

Cybercrimes have been on the increase in recent years and this is attributed to lack of tough measures regulating the internet especially with increased use of social media platforms.
