The NRM social and Civic mobilizer, Edison Kirabira aka Eddy was among the top mobilisers for the just concluded Presidential swearing-in ceremony at Kololo Independence Grounds.
Prior to the ceremony, Edison Kirabira called on all Ugandans to actively participate in and follow the upcoming Presidential Swearing-In Ceremony as he was among the mobilisers of the swearing in Kasiki at Millennium Park Lugogo.
He said the NRM Government under President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni reflects unity, continuity, and civic responsibility.
Eddy Kirabira continues to show why he has been the best NRM mobiliser in Greater Kampala since 2019.
From the Creatives, business community, Digital Creators, Arts and Entertainment and the ghettos, Eddy has been there and Mobilised all these ones to support the NRM Government and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the recent elections.
In related development, Kirabira has called on the government to organize a retreat for Digital Creators and influencers before dishing out the UGX 5bn the President pledged to the SACCO.
“If these guys are not first trained on how the money will be handled, most of them will misuse it and end up being arrested. It is important because you know issues of governance and accountability regarding money,” Eddy Kirabira said.
He stressed that their participation is essential in ensuring proper use of the money to avoid negative outcomes later.
Eddy Kirabira also acts as the President of Socialites Association of Uganda and Federation of Uganda Social Media Influencers Limited.
