Hon. Peter Ogwang donates 5 tonnes of rice to Katakwi District

The Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance who also doubles as the MP for Usuk County Katakwi District Hon. Peter Ogwang has donated 5 tonnes of rice to Katakwi District COVID-19 Taskforce. The minister said the donation will go to patients in Health centres in the district.

“I have donated 5 tonnes of rice worth Shs20m to Katakwi District COVID-19 Taskforce which will go to patients in health centres. The Taskforce also handed me an acknowledgement receipt of the Shs20m deposit. #StayHomeStaySafe,” Hon. Peter said.


The minister had earlier in the week respected the Court ruling, handed over Shs20m to the Katakwi District COVID-19 Taskforce to be used in pandemic fight.
