Busoga Tourism, Culture and Heritage Minister Hon. Hellen Namutamba has called on the general public especially the Basoga to use this Easter Holiday and visit Busoga Tourist sites as a way of promoting tourism in the region.
Among the sites she mentioned were Bishop Hannington in Mayuge, Itanda Falls, Kagulu Rock in Buyende, Busowoko Falls along the River Nile, Source of the Nile and many other heritage sites in the region.
In her Easter Message to the Basoga, Hon. Hellen congratulated the Christians upon finishing their fasting period peacefully.
She appreciated the Busoga Region for supporting the NRM Government in the just concluded general elections especially President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and Rt Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga and urged them to continue supporting all the government programs.
She extended greetings and congratulations from the Kyabazinga and Busoga Tourism Board Chairperson Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.
She wished them Peace, Unity and wealth as they celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and asked them to use this period also to repent and forgive one another.
