An unusual traffic advisory issued on Thursday evening left many Kampala residents wondering what exactly is happening on Friday. If you are an ardent netizen, you probably caught something odd sandwiched between the usual traffic updates. Not the standard “avoid this route” warning, but a public notice with a suspiciously good vibe to it.
The advisories, dropped by both stations warned road users of ‘Lite Jam’ on Wampewo Avenue and ‘Smooth Jam’ on Kampala Road, both expected to run from 3:00PM to 8:00PM this Friday, 7th August. Motorists have been “strongly advised” to kunyuka off early to beat it.
