Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has called on Magistrates and the Justice system to improve in the way cases are handled so as to reduce the case backlog which is hindering justice for the victims.

Speaking during the Kawempe Division security address by Deputy RCC Mr Lukka Kagenyi yesterday, Hajjat Karadi said the courts also need to improve on the communication.

Hajjat Hanifah Karadi wants to Justice system to improve on case handling to ease case backlog

“There is a need to expedite the backlog and improve communication in the case handling, people need to be informed about their court schedule or appearances because some of them miss the information,” Hajjat Hanifah Karadi said.

“As Kawempe tries to become a model division, there is a need to solve the cases as quickly as we can because this is an urban area, cases are many and they must be quickly fixed to avoid delayed and denied justice,” she added.
