Government hands over 8 buses to Technical Education & Vocational Institutes
The State Minister for Education in charge of Sports who also doubles as the MP for Ngariam County in Katakwi District Hon Peter Ogwang Yesterday morning commissioned and handed over 8 buses to different Technical Education and Vocational Institutes.
The buses were donated by the OPEC fund for International Development under the Vocational Education Phase II Project through government of Uganda.
The Minister said Phase II of the OPEC project involves the provision of additional training equipment and supplies i.e. ICT Equipment, Institutional Furniture and Text & Reference Books.
The 30-seater buses will support transportation of students to their various training sites.

3. Nawanyago TI (UBM 673E),
4. Lwengo TI (UBM 567E),
5. Sasiira TI (UBM 566E),
6. Basoga Nsadhu Memorial TI (UBM 561E),
7. Kilak Corner TI (UBM 563E) and,
8. Lokopio Hills TI (UBM 564E).
