Uganda’s food and beverage sector is set to welcome a new international name as Ai-CHA Food SG PTE. LTD prepares to launch its first outlet in Kampala. The upcoming store will be located at HAM Shopping Grounds, directly opposite Makerere University Main Gate in Wandegeya—one of the city’s busiest and most youthful commercial areas.
The brand is known for its wide range of refreshing drinks and desserts, especially milk teas, iced teas, fruit-flavored beverages, and soft ice cream. Its products are designed to offer premium taste at affordable prices, making them accessible to students, families, and working professionals alike.
Originally launched in Indonesia, Ai-CHA has grown rapidly across Southeast Asia. The company has built a strong reputation through creative flavors, modern store designs, and customer-friendly service. Today, the brand operates more than 2,000 outlets worldwide through a mix of company branches and franchise partnerships.
According to the company, the Wandegeya branch will provide more than just drinks and desserts. Customers can expect a clean and comfortable environment, friendly service, and a relaxed space suitable for social meetups or quick refreshment breaks. Plans are also underway to roll out complimentary Wi-Fi services to enhance the customer experience.
To introduce the brand to Ugandans, Ai-CHA is organizing a grand opening event scheduled for Saturday starting at 2:00 PM. The launch will feature live entertainment, including dancers, as well as free ice cream samples and discount coupons for visitors.
The Uganda opening is part of Ai-CHA’s broader international expansion plan, which focuses on growing the brand’s presence in new markets while building long-term partnerships.
