Gengetone Festival postponed

 Event will be rescheduled 
Ticket-holders should keep their tickets;
New date will be announced;
Postponement caused by #CORONAVIRUS  and Kenyan GOVERNMENT directive to ban all social gatherings.
Nairobi, Kenya: Gengetone Festival organisers have announced  that the “Gengetone Festival” event scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 10, at Machakos peoples park has been cancelled and re-scheduled. A new date will be announced shortly.
As the tickets that have been sold for this event are non-refundable, ticket-holders are urged to keep them so that they will be honored when the event is held.
“We regret having to postpone this important event celebrate gengetone music lovers ,”  Joe Mtetei said. “We are working to reschedule it, and hope that our fans can be patient. In the interim, I urge them to join us and pray for Kenya and the world during these crazy times of the Corona Virus pandemic and show their love of and commitment to our beloved Country by adhering to the measures put in place .”
The Gengetone Festival was scheduled to take place on Friday, April 10, at the Machakos People’s Park, in Machakos county.
