Frank Tumwebaze, Russian minister discuss ICT ties

Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has today met with Vice Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russia Hon Alexey Volina.

The two ministers discussed cyber security, collaboration between UBC Tv and Russian Today News, ICT Uganda and Russia ICT Colleges. The two parties will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOUs) to kick off the collaboration officially.

“I received & held discussions with the Vice-Minister of Telecom &mass communications of the Russian federation Hon Alexey Volin & his delegation. We discussed cyber security, collaboration between UBC TV and Russia Today News, ICT Uganda and Russia ICT colleges. Memorandum of understanding (MOUs) will follow,” Frank Tumwebaze posted.
