The newly appointed Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has officially been handed over his new office.
He received instruments of power from outgoing Minister Hajjat Janat Mukwaya yesterday Friday the Ministry’s head offices at Simbamanyo Building.
Mr. Tumwebaze applauded Hon. Janat Mukwaya for the encouraging words to him as he received office. The minister said he has come with an open mind to listen and work with all.
“Thank you Mama Janat our NRM historical leader for the nice words today of counsel as you handed over office of minister of Labour, Gender and Social Development to me. I shall definitely leverage your wise counsel to try and fit in your shoes. To the interest groups; youths, women, elderly, PWDS & workers. I come with an open mind to listen to you and work with all. Once again, I thank our leader H.E Kaguta Museveni for the trust and opportunity to serve my country Beautiful Uganda,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
