Meanwhile on Thursday 9th Feb 2017, Frank Tumwebaze received the Minister of ICT of Malawi, his Permanent Secretary and their delegation who were in Kampala on a bench marking tour with the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance.

“As the Ministry of ICT, we were pleased to host and facilitate them on their request to benchmark our ICT Policies & systems. Choosing our works as models to benchmark is good and a vote of confidence in our ICT Policy regime. Of most particular interest to them is our move to set up an innovation fund to support innovation startups, that gets operational by July this year at the beginning of the new financial year 2017/2018,” Frank said.
