One of Kampala’s oldest bars, Fat Boyz and Just Kicking are no more. Fat Boyz was on Saturday demolished to ground zero.

This comes months after it was closed off for business. Sources say the owner of the plot property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia wants to set up a state of art structure. It’s not only Fat Boyz going but also Just Kicking. Sources say although Just Kicking is still on, it will also be demolished soon as the Crane Management is setting up a state of the art shopping mall.

The Kisementi bars have been one of the best and most happening places for classy Kampala people but they had of recent struggled to keep their clientele due mushrooming Kampala bars. They have slowly been abandoned and they had remained with a few customers who couldn’t push them further making owners to incur heavy losses. The plot’s owner Sudhir has now decided to develop the place into a modern shopping mall structure.
