Five Labour exporting companies suspended

The acting Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development, Mr. Ebitu James has announced that five companies recruiting workers to go work abroad have been suspended.

The suspension follows recent caution by the ministry to labour recruitment firms that do not adhere to the regulations would have their licences suspended.

Five companies have fallen victim and they are; Middle East Consultants, Elite Placemat Consulting, Eagle Supervision, Elite Winners Agency, Spotlight International and High Ground International Ltd.

The five companies are accused of soliciting for money from people to take them abroad but have ended up not doing it.
