FINCA Uganda’s Robinah Siima scoops Young CFO of the Year award

The 9th Annual Uganda CFO Awards Gala celebrated the brilliance, resilience, and innovation of Uganda’s finance leaders. It was a night of Legacy and impact as the CFO Awards 2025 rocked Kampala Serena Hotel yesterday Thursday night.

Among the big winners of the night was Ms Robinah Siima, the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of FINCA Uganda. She scooped the Young CFO Award, recognizing emerging leaders shaping the future of finance (35 or younger).

Robinah Siima, CFO, FINCA Uganda is a rising force proving that leadership has no age limits. She has been instrumental in driving positive results which has been the financial giants post impressive annual results. She is a result oriented person and FINCA Uganda is lucky to possess such brilliant banker.

2. SME Award: Amanda Ayebare — CFO, Auto Xpress Uganda

3. Sustainability Award: Peter Ssenyange — CFO, Post Bank Uganda.

4. Compliance & Governance Award (Tie):

• Ronald Makata — CFO, Stanbic Bank Uganda.

5. Young CFO Award: Robinah Siima — CFO, FINCA Uganda.

6. Leadership Award: Irene Mwoyogwona — Head of Finance, Pride Bank Ltd

7. Finance Transformation & Technology Award: Ronald Makata — CFO, Stanbic Bank Uganda.

8. Strategy Execution Award: Emmanuel Mugagga — CFO, @UNOC_UG.

9. CFO of the Year (Runner-Up): Ronald Makata — CFO, Stanbic Bank Uganda.

10. CFO of the Year 2025: Peter Ssenyange — CFO, Post Bank Uganda.
