Ms Robinah Siima, the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) of FINCA Uganda has articulated a contemporary view of the CFO role saying it’s not about cutting costs in isolation but about fostering growth, innovation, and collaboration.
Modern CFOs act as strategic business partners, influencing revenue generation, guiding investments, and driving innovation.
This shift moves away from the stereotype of CFOs being purely cost-focused to a broader, value-creation role.
Ms Robinah Siima said this in a series of interviews with the CEO East Africa Magazine that are running on its social media platforms.
