Kampala: At the break of dawn today, a group of media practitioners set off on a field excursion to inspect and visit key installations under Package 2B of the Katosi Water Project.
The team was divided into two groups. The first group visited the Kabulengwa, Mpererwe and Kanyanya booster stations, while the second visited the Kungu, Namugongo and Mutungo booster stations.
The excursion is intended to educate and enlighten the public through the media about the ongoing pipeline network extension and expansion works, which seek to address the missing link between water-stressed areas and the Katosi Water Treatment Plant.
The NWSC team was led by the Chief Manager, Water Supply, while Collin Ariho led the team on behalf of Gauff Consultants.
