Fallen dance-hall singer Emmanuel Mayanja aka AK47 has been laid to rest this today afternoon. The singer’s remains were buried at the family’s ancestral burial ground in Busaato, Kalangalo along Mityana Road.

The singer’s final journey on earth ended at 5pm today. Family members, celebrities, friends and fans thronged the area to send their icon home. At the burial, the mood was sombre as people shed tears at the fallen star.

Meanwhile latest unconfirmed reports say the bouncer who was with the deceased before his death has handed himself over to Police. His handover if its true will help Police to establish what exactly killed the singer.
AK47 fell in a bathroom at De Javu bar, Kansanga on Monday night and was rushed to Nsambya Hospital where he was pronounced dead on his arrival. The bar has since been closed pending Police investigations. He is survived by a widow and three children with three months old twins. May his soul Rest In Eternal Peace
