SU: Who is Lolah Adhama?
Lolah Adhama: Lolah Adhama is a model/actress/business lady of Tanzanian origin but recently relocated to Uganda…so basically a Ugandan national.
SU: Why did you relocate to you Uganda?
Lolah Adhama: Better life opportunities I guess and I have to say Uganda is truly a mother I feel more at home when here so why not…

SU: When did you join modeling?
Lolah Adhama: two years ago…. Like many start small… I refused that. I start average and rise up… In faith and hope to hit the top line but got professional early this year in February.
SU: How do you find modeling?
Lolah Adhama: Great, Well modeling has its times both good and bad, high and low like many other careers. I have had my great moments and bad but all in all modeling is my passion and am determined to be the woman many little girls will admire and look up to.

SU: You always post bikini and tempting pictures. Would you strip to earn like the likes of Kendra Wilkinson?
Lolah Adhama: Haaahhh… God no…There is a difference between semi nude and nude… It takes too much confidence and too much thinking to wear a bikini, pose for a picture then post it. So trust me complete nudity must require complete madness which of course I don’t have. Well yet…Am a bikini and lingerie model not a nudity model. This is to all who are planning to use me as a model.

SU: How do you find modeling industry in Uganda?
Lolah Adhama: It’s slow, and the platform is still too low but am glad we are starting to get noticed which is a huge step. The only thing left is a little more of respect from people who think modeling is not somebody’s career. Though not so bad, there is hope.
SU: Who inspired you?
Lolah Adhama: Right now am inspired by so many people… As a model am inspired by all the beautiful African models who have made it in the industry like Tyra Banks, then I have these intelligent amazing people with great ideas that inspire me mentally… To want more and earn more, then I have these media friends who push me higher with their comments generally am inspired by a combination of so many great people.

SU: Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Lolah Adhama: That’s a hard question… I live each day as it comes… One day at a time… Sure I have dreams, plans and hopes but I choose to focus on what I do today so that my future will be a great story. Five years from now I really don’t know I just pray God keeps me happy, healthy and stronger then 5 years from now if you ever interview me, you are allowed to ask me what I have accomplished in the past 5 years…that I can answer with ease.

SU: Tell us about your love life?
Lolah Adhama: Hheeehh… what do you want to know about my love life…? Aaahhh… Relationship… No and yes… You know with Long distance relationships one can never be sure whether you are in a relationship or not unless you’re with the person… I get challenged defining it to myself too at times.

SU: How do you tame off your fans that advance on you?
Lolah Adhama: Fans??? Hhahhahah… No not yet…all I have are supportive friends even though I have never met them… I don’t have to tame them they are not animals… They know it’s my work and I always ask them to respect it just like their own jobs…
SU: What message do you have for young aspiring models?
Lolah Adhama: For the young aspiring models out there that love modeling. I would like to tell them to stand firm and shoot for the stars. Nothing is easy and definitely modeling is not all about runway, crown, money etc its hard work, sacrifice, time, patience and love, people are going to judge, condemn you and say so many things to you on your way up…you will be rejected and told so many mean things but from those mean things pick up your strength and push higher. And never ever give up. There is no secret or shortcut to success. You just have to work hard and stay focused.

SU: Any other thing you want to put forward?
Lolah Adhama: Yes for sure… For those that are judging and condemning me for doing my job and something I love so much, I would like to tell you to fasten your sit belt because I have not started yet. And it’s honestly going to be a long ride, am ready to face it all and make history.
As the new face and brand ambassador of a lingerie and bikini line, trust me you will be seeing more skin out than in… Hhhehh just saying get ready, you will give up before I start. So why not simply support your girl and make history together… Uhhmh.
