Ethiopian embassy to participate in Ekyooto Cultural festival
The embassy of Ethiopia has confirmed its participation in the upcoming Uganda International Cultural Fair also tagged as Ekyooto Cultural Festival under the theme ” our diverse cultures celebrating each other”.
It is being organised by Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities and Perfect Events together with both government and private sector partners. In a meeting between H.E the ambassador of Ethiopia and the Ag.Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, it was agreed that Ethiopia would use the cultural festival as an opportunity to market their destination as well as Ethiopian cultures ranging from the Coffee making ceremony, dress code, food among other aspects.
This would give an opportunity to the Ugandan community to appreciate the unique cultures of the Ethiopians and vice Vasa. The Uganda International Cultural Fair also tagged as Ekyooto will be held from 9th – 11th August 2019 at Uganda Museum. It will be showcasing the diverse cultures of Uganda and the International community.
