Eddy Kenzo on what pushed him to start up a Musicians Federation

Singer Edirisa Musuuza famously known as Eddy Kenzo has revealed what exactly pushed him to start up a musicians federation even when there was an association already in place.

The federation started one year ago and surprisingly most musicians even those that were in the association joined it.

It is not easy in Uganda to bring people especially celebrities together because some of them think that they are better than the others and don’t like hanging around each other.

According to Eddy Kenzo, stating a federation was a dream come true because when he moves to different continents to perform, he saw how the other artistes were interacting with each other.

He said that specifically Americans appreciate each other’s craft and are always willing to push one another to the level they want to be.

Eddy Kenzo revealed that it hasn’t been easy to bring musicians together but he has tried his best and he is hoping the legacy will continue even when he is no longer around any more.

“I was inspired by the unity in the American creative industry and how they appreciate each other’s craft. It’s good to see collaboration and mutual respect among creatives,” Eddy Kenzo.
