Dott Services Limited in final touches on Nakalama-Tirinyi-Mbale Road
Engineering and construction giants Dott Services Limited is in the final stages of completing Nakalama-Tirinyi-Mbale Road.
Eng. Jamesone Olonya, Dott Services contracts Manager said the road works are at 99% and will be completed in the next few months.
He said they are in the final stages of finishing all the remaining works on the road and by end of August, it will be ready for handover.
While taking the media to the tour of road works, Olonya said they executed the work perfectly under supervision of Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA).
The road cost UGX 135 billion fully funded 100% by the Ugandan government.
The Engineer added that the 100km Road was designed and built to ease transport for both people and goods. In the trading Centres, safety measure including construction of extra lane to safe guard those crossing, shocking and traders.
Eng. Andrew Tugume who was also part of the team touring the road said the company has improved its efficiency in its project delivery and said this is self explanatory from the quality of works exhibited on Nakalama-Tirinyi-Mbale road project.
Members of the media hailed the company’s effort in exhibiting top notch performance in all its works.
As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSA), the company has reached out to all communities along the road with a number of activities like helping schools, providing for the school going kids and many others.
The latest tour has unleashed what the company is offered in the areas of road construction and it can’t be disputed.
Their good work also explains why Dott Services was ranked the best local construction firm in the country.
He add added that the company currently has the machinery capacity to handle any form of construction or engineering work in the fields of roads, electricity and water. They recently purchased 25 specialized Sino Trucks as part of their 25th Anniversary. These ones have eased the work more.
All these come as the company made 25 years of existence last year and is ranked in the Class A1 tier. The firm also has operations in Tanzania, India Zambia, South Sudan among other countries.
