Self proclaimed business man and tycoon Don Chris is still on the run after police revealed that he actually scammed over 1.4 billion.
Last week 350 people were reported to have been the ones that lost money to him but instead of sympathising with them, he just attacked them on social media.
Don Chris came on to entertainment scene last year as the big spender. He established different friendships with many musicians and most of them actually believed in him.
Months ago he opened up a travel company known as Skypins and with his closeness with celebrities Ugandans trusted him with their money and documents to travel.
Most of them came out recently and reported that they paid money for travelling and processing their travel documents but noting was done.
Yesterday the spokesperson of internal affairs said that Don Chris is still on the run but so far their investigation indicate that he scammed more than 1.4 billions from his clients.
“We have established through our investigation that Don Chris scammed Ugandans about 1.4 billion. Those are the ones that have reported and we know there are some that haven’t reported anywhere,” Internal Affairs has entered the issue of Don Chris.
