Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa mourns Pope Francis, cherishes the miracles he gave him
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa has mourned Late Pope Francis, the head of Catholic Church in the world who died at the age of 88 today morning according to The Vatican.
Posting on his X account, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said he will always cherish the miracles he brought to his life the first time he gave him a special prayer at The Vatican.
“Rest with the angels, Holy Father @Pontifex. I will always cherish the miracles you brought into my life from the first time you gave me a special prayer at the Vatican. I’m glad God gave me a chance to confess to you on several occasions. Your love for the underprivileged and peace for the world will always define your Papacy. May you intercede for us before our Father in Heaven,” Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said.
Pope Francis yesterday emerged from his convalescence on Easter Sunday to bless thousands of people in St. Peter’s Square and treat them to a surprise popemobile romp through the piazza, drawing wild cheers and applause as he continued his recovery from a near-fatal bout of double pneumonia. But unfortunately he has passed on a day after, may his soul RIP.
