The Second Deputy Prime Minister, Rt Hon Ali Kirunda Kivejinja has breathed his last on Saturday. The Veteran politician has been hospitalised at Mulago Hospital for a month.
The veteran politician has died of COVID-19 complications.
His death comes a day after another politician and legislator and Kyotera Woman MP Robinah Ssentongo died of the same compilations.
The 85-year old becomes the highest-ranking official to succumb to the virus. RIP Kivejinja.
