Business: Fenix International relocates to Uganda

Fenix International that produces affordable energy solutions for the 1.1 billion people living without electricity is set to relocate to Uganda, we can confirm.

Fenix International Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Daniel Willetehe has said the company is committed to providing clean and affordable electricity to people living off grid.

Through their expandable, lease to own solar home system, Fenix is committed to improve the technology, engineering and software expertise in Uganda.

“Thank you Minister of ICT Uganda Hon. Frank Tumwebaze for recognizing our commitment to provide clean and affordable electricity to people living off-grid. Through our expandable, lease-to-own solar home system, we are committed to improve the tech, engineering and software expertise in Uganda,” Daniel said.

“Glad to receive Mr. Daniel Willettehe, CEO of Fenix International and team. I am happy that they are shifting their global headquarters from California to Uganda. They deal in low cost energy solar solutions that are GSM enabled. We are working out a partnership that will skill ICT talents in energy,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
