Banyankore-Banyarwanda will always lead us because of their temperament says Maureen Kyalya

Former Presidential candidate Maureen Kyalya has said Banyankore and Banyarwanda will always lead because of their temperament. She said this while posting on her social media wall. She said westerners (Western Uganda) people they recognize opportunity and adopt a positive attitude towards venturing with the unknown, a thing she said will make them leaders always.

“I am reflecting on my community engagement interacting with the entire Uganda and realise that Westerners as we call them will always lead us because they recognize opportunity and adopt a positive attitude towards venturing with the unknown.

With all respect to everyone, my experience is that well as for example very few Basoga will leave their house without being facilitated right from the door step; a Westerner will look for what they treasure no matter how far it is, will facilitate themselves and even support you the person they have come to see if you are financially constrained.

I am running a potentially robust project in UK with 5 Board Members two of which are Westerners. The others are Kenyan and Ghanaian. Not because I did not invite other people; but simply because to them it is a burden to serve the community unless they are paid outright.

In the end the Westerners will continue leading community projects and ferrying billions to the West while we complain falsely accusing them of nepotism whilst the reality is they have an exceptional temperament and only the sky is the limit to how far they can fly. Its deserving to share this experience so others can stop complaining but simply get off their backs,” Maureen posted.
