L.I.F.E which is an acronym for L.I.F.E – LEAVING AN IMPACT FOR ETERNITY had great hits such as ‘Yawa Dey’, ‘Tonight’ and ‘Like To The Party’ which ruled airwaves in Africa and beyond. With such smash hits to his belts the Aristokrat Records tattooed Afro-pop sensation can only be expected to soar higher upon the release of the next album.
According to Burna’s manager Kalada Innocent, “We will be releasing the song and its video in Nigeria, East Africa and South Africa simultaneously. Kenya is special because Burna Boy was here in Nairobi during the release. We are honoured to do this for the first time in East Africa”
This was the first time a Nigerian artist has done an official release in Nairobi and joins one half of the Brick and Lace duo Nyanda who also had an official release of her latest single “I Love Sax” in Nairobi.
Burna was in Nairobi for the Coke Studio recording where he recorded a song with Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee.
Known for his smooth Patois-influenced Dance-hall crooning, Burna Boy‘s music influence can be traced back to his grandfather, Benson Idons who was the manager of Afro-beat legend, Fela Kuti. Click below for the song video
