“We are trying to make sure all the venues where the fest is going to take place are clean. I am impressed by the work being done especially the quality of materials being used which is good and choice of colours is on point. This national will not be destroyed like some people have been saying, no one is going to change, the theatre is here to stay, national theatre will remain the way it, the structures will remain the way they, we are only renovating and cleaning up,” Pius told the press.

Ambiguous Construction Company Ltd was contracted to do the work at a cost of UGX 3bn.

Peter Ojede said the works are on course and the people will be able to enjoy the festival without any disturbances.
