Wakiso District Woman MP Hon. Betty Ethel Naluyima has appreciated her party, the National Unity Platform (NUP) for entrusting her again with the party flag bearer for Wakiso District Woman MP seat.
Speaking after the release of the NUP MPs Representatives across the country last evening, Hon. Betty Ethel Naluyima says she is grateful and deeply humbled to her party for once again entrusting her with the flag to represent the great people of Wakiso District in the 12th Parliament 2026.

I am deeply humbled and grateful to my Party, the National Unity Platform , for once again entrusting me with the flag to represent the great people of Wakiso District in Parliament. This trust is not just a mandate, but a sacred responsibility. I pledge to always uphold the values of our party, to be a true voice for our people, and to faithfully carry forward the aspirations of all those who believe in justice and good governance. People Power Our Power!,” Hon. Betty Ethel Naluyima said her name confirmed.
She is now set to battle with her opponents from other parties although it remains unclear if she will get an opponent of NUP leaning as an independent.
