It was all glitz, glamour and pop as former Miss Uganda Barbara Kimbugwe’s Diva Fashion’s celebrated one year in business. The first anniversary shopping spree was an elegant and a successful event. Kampala socialites and fashion lovers thronged the place at Tirupati Mazima Mall Basement 2, Kabalagala to celebrate with Barbara and support her.

The function was well attended and a smile on Barbara’s face showed how happy she was.
“Big thanks to my family(the Kimbugwe family),friends, money spenders/customers, fashionistas, my sponsors( Duke water, Miss Uganda company, Wellness & Research Inc. USA – Dr. Al Sears, Club Cyclone Jovan. K Art studios and the media at large. Thank you all for showing your love & support,” Barbara posted on her Facebook wall after the function.
After the successful anniversary celebrations, the beauty queen hosted her guests at the new swanky Cyclone Club in the same mall for the after party. A friend and fan of Barbara Kimbugwe, Katheryn Prossy had this to say, “I don’t know why other Miss Uganda queens can’t get a single example from you because you rock in everything. Since 2004 when i was a little girl in P.7 i longed to be a model at least, i was really inspired by you Barbie but up to now it’s like you are still Miss Uganda.
