Azawi, Mudra, Vyper Rankings & Sama soja to headline Jam Fest this month

Kampala; Whispers Lounge Bugolobi played host to the official launch of the JAM FEST 2022. Revered as the new event for the highbrow party goers of Kampala and Uganda at large, the Jam Fest, slated for Saturday the 19th February 2022 at Zoe Grounds Lugogo has, for the whole of January, been the most anticipated lifestyle event.

Speaking at the press conference, Elvis Sekyanzi assured the press that with headlining artistes such as Azawi, Mudra D Viral, Vyper Rankings and Sama Sojah, the experience is going to be something Uganda party goers haven’t seen before.

“There is a certain sect of party goers that want the finer stuff in life. They love luxury and pomp. They love exclusivity and rolling with fellow ‘highballers’.They want to go to a party where their VIP needs are understood, and met to their satisfaction. They want to dictate the standard of service, while maintaining a level of exclusivity or privacy. These people don’t trust many of the events happening in Kampala right now. So we want to give them a place where they can feel at home; and that is the JAM FEST 2022,” explained Sekyanzi.

The event will have a wide range of DJs and performing artistes, many of whom are looking to prove their craft on the biggest stage in Uganda right now. He further explained that with the host of sponsors on board, and factoring in that the economy is just recovering, the ticket prices were made affordable.

Tickets prices are going for as low as UGX 25K for ordinary, while hospitality tents are going for 1.5m. The early bird tickets are going for UGX 20k.

“Hospitality tents come with 40 tickets, a designated tent and seats, the liberty for the tent owners to personalize or brand their space however they want, on top of having permission to bring in their own drinks or food,” explained Amon of Silk Events.

Adris Digital Africa’s CEO, Solomon B.W. Muleyi, renowned for hosting luxury experiences, explained to the crowd that the JAM FEST is something the organizers have prepped for two years. We have curated a number of unique and exhilarating activities for both the thrill-junkies and archetypal live musical experience connoisseurs. There is an experience for everyone.

“We have been cleared by KCCA and Police, and therefore have the support and blessing of the government to give Ugandans an experience of a life time. We are very keen on the security of our revelers, and have therefore planned comprehensively about their safety inside and outside the event. We will have the dedicated support of uniformed police, as well as non-uniformed police to ensure utmost security. Revellers who drive will park at, and access the venue, Zoe Grounds through UMA showgrounds.

Those who don’t drive will access Zoe Grounds through the main gate, facing the Phillip Omondi KCCA stadium. Both entrances and exits will be lined with security to ensure maximum safety for our revelers until their points of transportations.

The event has been powered by Silk Events, Radio City, Galaxy FM, Stanbic Bank, Adris Digital Africa, Wavah Water, Feyti LTD, Simba FM, BBS TV, Saints Media, among others.
