52 Youths graduate at Kagiira Skills Development Centre 

Over 52 Youths Students have graduated at Kagiira Skills Development Centre (KSDC) in Ishongororo, Ibanda district after completing one month industrial training.

The students who attained practical skills in agriculture are from Kitagata and Rwentaga Farm Schools.

Practical agricultural skills is key in professional empowerment and this will ensure knowledge transfer to the farmers.
The over 52 students were attached to KSDC to gain practical skills in 10 enterprises including diary,  poultry farming,  horticulture,  urban farming,  local chicken production,  banana farming,  pasture and fodder production, poultry of layers, mushroom production and marketing as well as zero grazing.
The function was attended LC V vice chairman Mr. Elias Tumubwine who represented his boss, Ishongororo mayor Hassan Mugabe also attended the function as well as officials from TPO , LC111 Ishongororo,  community development officer, Director Mariane Foundation  and many stakeholders.
Mr Elias who was the Chief guest commended the centre for skilling the youth and urged the students to implement the skills in different projects across the region.
