2026 Updates: What you need to know about Bugembe Abubakar, the man who wants Mawokota North MP seat

Mr. Bugembe Abubakar has announced that he is contesting for the Member of Parliament for Mawokota North Constituency in Mpigi District come 2026. Today we bring who he is;

He was born in the year 1982 from a peasantry family of the late Hajji Edris Walakila and Hasifa Nalubega in Bukakala Village ward in Mpigi town council.

He went to Kiwaawo Quran school for his primary, Kitagobwa secondary for O level in Butambala, Buwama High for A level and then he joined Kyambogo University where he attained a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education.

He is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience in teaching and he says his commitment to the betterment of our community extends beyond the classroom.

As an educator and a seasoned member of our community, he brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experience to the realm of politics. He firmly believes that his background in education has equipped him with the skills necessary to lead effectively and advocate for the needs of the constituency.
