Latest on our desk has it that Mr. Vincent Labeja Olam is set to contest for the Member of Parliament of Laroo Pece City Division in Gulu City, Gulu District.
Together with his team, Mr Vincent is already on the ground mobilizing for support ahead of the big battle. He wants to use parliament to effectively serve the people of Laroo Pece.

He says his main aim for contesting is to improve service delivery in all sectors with accountability on the table especially in sectors of Education, health, road infrastructures and good representation on the matters of national importance on the floor of Parliament.

“I am very ready and committed to deliver to the people of Laroo Pece,” Vincent said.
Who is Labeja Vincent Olam

The 36-year-old is the son of former Labour Commissioner and a four time councillor in Gulu City Mr. Olam Sisto. His father was popularly referred to as Olam Labour who has done many things in Gulu City.

Labeja Olam just like his father has accepted the calling of the communities within Gulu especially Laroo Pece to come and lead Laroo Pece to the promise land.
He started his leadership responsibilities way back from Primary where he was the assistant Headboy.
He was the chairman of alter boy and dormitory captain at St Joseph’s College Layibi and while at Makerere University, he was the chairman LC1, and Guild adviser.
Education
He holds a Bachelor of business Administration from Makerere University and a Masters of Business Administration from Gulu University with three post graduate diploma in Financial Management from Gulu University, Management from British Columbia and Procurement and supply from Gulu University.
