2026 Updates: Jonathan Luwaga Ssebuwufu set for Mubende Municipality MP seat

Things are getting fired up ahead of next year’s General Elections, we can confirm.

Mr. Jonathan Luwaga Ssebuwufu aka
Ssuula Mpya has officially declared his intentions to contest for Mubende Municipality MP seat 2026-2031 and he is a member of Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU).

A teacher, Journalist and A senior member of the Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS), Mr. Jonathan hails from Buwekula county in Bukalungi Cell, Mubende Municipality.

He is a grand son of the late Owek. Lawrence Balya Sserugunda (former Buwekula county chief).

Jonathan wants to see musicians from Mubende become stars like Chozen Becky (L)

Ssebuwufu wants to see effective administration in the Municipality. He also has plans of improving total service delivery in the sectors of education, health, roads and other forms of infrastructure.

He also wants to create employment and savings culture so as to improve household income in the Municipality. He also wants to improve the Quality of Coffee production within the area. Watch the Space!!!!
