National Unity Platform (NUP) and human rights lawyer Mr. George Musisi is seen as the right person to dethrone long serving Kira Municipality MP Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda from the seat.
Close source from NUP say the party will front Mr George Musisi to take the charge of the seat in 2026.
Musisi whose work in unquestionable is seen as the best candidate to uproot Ssemujju from Kira.
Basing on what he has done for NUP party, it’s with no doubt that he is the party’s choice for the seat.
Political commentators see the senior Advocate as the ideal candidate to defeat Hon. Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
Musisi and his team are already on the ground making consultations and posters as part of creating awareness for the hot seat have been pinned all over Kira Municipality. He told this website that once he is given the mandate, he was to see effective and accountable leadership in Kira Municipality. Musisi is currently the head of laity at St. Joseph Church of Uganda Bulindo.
