Every year, the world converges on June 21 to celebrate World Music Day. In Uganda, it’s been celebrated for years at the National Theatre and on the streets. This year, the organizers have decided to celebrate for some days starting with Thursday till Saturday 24th June 2023.
There will different Performances from various artists have been lined up plus various events in places like a mix of music and poetry and exhibitions of different things that will be on the ground from different creative people.
This will feature artists Muthoni Drummer Queen and The Mith, who will headline the event.
Unlike the other shows around the week that are for paying, a ticket to the perfume concert will be zero shillings as it will be free for all.
The World Music Day is organized by Alliance Francaise Kampala, a non-profit organization promoting cultural exchange between France and Uganda
