UTB, KTB, KQ, Eddy Kenzo in mega partnership to promote Tourism in East Africa

Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has partnered with their Kenyan counterpart Kenya Tourism Board (KTB), Kenya Airways (KA and singer Eddy Kenzo to promote Tourism in East Africa under the campaign ‘Take a Break’.

This was revealed today at a Press Conference held at Kampala Sheraton Hotel. The partnership will see close working ties between these companies and singer Eddy Kenzo.

Stephen Asiimwe, Chief Executive Officer Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), said Uganda is an important market for Kenya Airways and the airways can help the two boards enhance the tourism promotion.

KQ will introduce non tariff barriers to make sure Tourism is developed in the region.

Kenya Airways Country Manager said Tourism is key for the two economies. The key relationship between these companies is key for the East African Tourism Board to enhance tourism growth.

“KQ will be used as a primary access to tourism destinations in the region,” Betty Radier.

Eddy Kenzo has been given the opportunity because of his growing followers and achievements. Because of his followers and what he does, Eddy Kenzo can be able to market tourism industry in East Africa. He has followers across the world.

“It’s a great honour and opportunity I have been given to promote the homage, culture, beauty, natural resource, infrastructure and tourism in general of my other mother country Kenya. Under the campaign Take a break #Tugendekenya #magicalKenya,” Eddy Kenzo said.
