Vincent Waiswa Bagiire, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Responsible Investment Global Award as the Uganda Foreign Policy Champion for the years 2025-2026. This accolade underscores his exceptional excellence in promoting international relations and enhancing Uganda’s diplomatic ties worldwide.
Bagiire’s tenure has been marked by a profound dedication to strengthening Uganda’s relationships with other nations. Bagiire has played a pivotal role in advancing regional integration through projects like the Northern Corridor Integration Projects (NCIP) and the One Network Area, enhancing cross-border trade and cooperation.
