Uganda records lowest number of COVID-19 cases for the first time in over a month

The Ministry of Health has announced 4 cases of COVID-19 in the country, the lowest number Uganda has recorded in over a month.

Results from COVID-19 tests done on 30 June 2020 confirm 4 new cases.
The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans is now 893.

COVID-19 Active cases on admission: 184. (162 are Ugandans,19 foreigners and 3 are refugees).

Uganda has registered total COVID-19 recoveries of 837 (both Ugandans and non-Ugandans).

The 4 cases are a Uganda truck driver who arrived from Kenya via Malaba, 3 are contacts of previous confirmed cases from Kyotera (2) and Amuru (1) districts.

16 Foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and are 11 Kenyans, 4 Tanzanians and 1 Congolese.
