Truck Drivers menace! Uganda registers 21 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Heath has continued to receive bad news from Truck Drivers tests in regard to COVID-19 deadly disease.

The Ministry has today 14th May 2020 confirmed 21 new COVID-19 cases from 1,593 samples of truck drivers.

This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 160 in Uganda.

The new cases include: Ugandans, Kenyans, Tanzanians and South Sudanese who arrived via Mutukula, Busia and Elegu borders.

All 303 community samples have tested negative for COVID-19 and Total COVID-19 recoveries: 63.

Total samples tested today: 1,896
